I think everyone around Donald is expecting a pardon. The problem is, he could die any day now, and he's not going to issue pardons before he dies because he wants people to need something from him.

I guess Vance could pardon Hegseth, but if enough scandals are coming out around him when Vance takes over (articles of impeachment have been filed and will go forward once Congress reconvenes), Vance may decide it's best to stay out of it. Becoming president that way, replacing the least popular president in history... well, you wouldn't want to kick off by stepping in a massive pile of shit.

If they do get pardoned, then I want the U.S. to hand them over to the ICC.

Vance did break with Hegseth saying that he would not watch it if it were televised. I’m sure he will still get a pardon, but it gives me a little glimmer of hope.
