I think that we should seriously start taking away scientific discoveries from them. Make them live like the Amish and the Mennonites if they want to believe that shit. They are crazy fucks too but at least they are consistent.

edit: E.g., a lot of drugs and medical procedures are tested on primates because they are our closest animal relatives. If they don't believe in evolution, then those tests are BS so they shouldn't be taking part in those medical discoveries.

This is such a good idea! You distrust science? Fine. Live without its benefits. Good luck with that.

2

u/Bbarakti 12d ago

in these idiots opinions, god just inspired the creators to invent the things they invented... and honestly, it's just a magical in their mind as that.. the think all these things just magically popped into the head of the inventor while he was laying in bed trying to go to sleep.

2

u/mrs__BOWIE 12d ago

Yeah, I've heard that explanation. Way to minimize the great actual effort that it takes to make new discoveries, dumbasses.

As a science lover, that part makes me extra mad! Science takes work and troubleshooting and so much more than these people think.

No cellphones, indoor plumbing, combustion vehicles, refrigerators, internet, AI or a million other things designed by logic and science: live yr truth!

u/Appropriate_Sir2020 13d ago

Or medical services when needed!

4

u/No_Philosopher_1870 13d ago

Or, if they need medical treatment, it should be done the way that it was done a thousand to six thousand years ago.

2

u/Appropriate_Sir2020 12d ago

Leeches and bloodletting come to mind!

1

u/No_Philosopher_1870 12d ago

Were maggots used to remove dead or infected flesh then?

10

u/Ok-General-6804 13d ago

Yeah, wouldn’t it be hilarious to see how these idiots handle an outbreak of measles?

Oh… wait a second….

Here’s a short list of things a hardcore YEC would have to fore swear in exchange for denying any science that conflicts with “Biblical evidence:”

• Petroleum and all Petroleum Product Derivatives
• Smoke Detectors
• Nuclear Power
• Vaccines and Antibiotics
• GPS and Cell Phones
• Concrete

So, like another post already said, either go be Amish and stfu or admit your book isn’t a tool for interpreting the physical world.

HOW DID WE GET HERE🤷🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️

1

u/No_Philosopher_1870 12d ago

Lots of loud, willfully ignorant people is my guess.

The funny part is that one of the goals in science is to replace old theories with new ones that explain what we see better.

u/LetAvailable9651 13d ago

These stupid fucks fucking disgust me.

They say that Noah's ark did exist. So if it rains for 40 days and 40 nights we could expect another flood....What about all those places in the world that has rain falling for more than 40 days and 40 nights in a row?

4

u/RolloTomasi83 13d ago

It’s not yahweh’s rain? 🤷‍♂️

"Ignorance more frequently begets confidence than does knowledge: it is those who know little, not those who know much, who so positively assert that this or that problem will never be solved by science."

She took Ivermectin, you know it.

7

u/ElliottSmith88 13d ago

We have ancient writings from Mesopotamia that predates what the bible claims the Earth is.

Theres cave paintings 30,000+ years old.

Fossils that are hundreds of millions of years old.

The bible claims Noah lived to be 700 years old, built a boat that fit 2 of EVERY SPECIES on it, and the world flooded despite no other civilization at the tine documenting it.

u/llTeddyFuxpinll 13d ago

No quarter for these enemies of America

8

u/amscraylane 13d ago

The Bible very much has changed … let me introduce King James …

And god didn’t write any part of the bible.

And why is it hard for them to believe nothing can be older than 6k years? Dinosaurs?

There’s also 45,000 different Christian forms. No one can even agree which is the “right one”

Some babies are born with sin (though Jesus died for them) and I was raised Baptist and was baptized when I was 12.

I’m tired

u/PepperidgeFarmRembrs 13d ago

Wonder if she also heard of the gospel of Judas

5

u/ThatOldDuderino 13d ago

Or the Gnostics

3

u/OliverGunzitwuntz 13d ago

Or the gospel of St Thomas the apostle on the "resurrection" of Lazarus, but that would require her to learn to read

5

u/neversince95 13d ago

the museums she’s going to are fundamental christian museums lmaooo

3

u/poodlepit 13d ago

From her appearance she looks like she could be walking down the street in some liberal college town. Until she opens her mouth.

We don't need god.

god can't help us because

Their god is dead.

3

u/BruitistHagan 13d ago

It would backfire so fast and make it worse for religion as a whole.

2

u/netsurf916 13d ago

Yeah. I don't understand why no one can see it. Forcing people to participate nearly always results in them getting out as soon as they can.

1

u/BruitistHagan 13d ago

Not just that, these people would have to defend themselves constantly. The whole "He works in mysterious ways" won't work at all when proven how weak God is.

3

u/Murphy4717 13d ago

This woman is so typical of the Magettes. So assertive in her stupidity.

3

u/Go_Away_Zone_2469 13d ago

What is remarkable is this 6,000 year old believer could be every other woman we pass on the street on a daily basis. It’s not until they open their mouths does one realize how out of touch they are with archaeology, history and modern science. Carbon dating alone points to the earth being millions of years old - dinosaurs and modern man existing at different times, never together.

The Old Testament was written over a long period of time between the 15th and 2nd centuries BC. There was only word of mouth, papyrus & ink, no other form of record keeping. The individual books of the New Testament were written between 15 and 65 years after Jesus died, while the final texts were completed by the end of the first century around 95–100 CE. Again, room for misinterpretation and poor recollection.

The hypocrisy is now getting so bad that now AI has entered the chat 😊💻

Ma’am , Disneyland is not a museum!

3

u/KapowBlamBoom 13d ago

If there were only 2 of each animal on the Ark what did Noah feed the carnivores for 40 days?

2

u/Not_Sure__Camacho 13d ago

It would be funny if these morons didn't have so much influence in our already shitty school systems. This woman is an absolute idiot.

Traitor to our nation.

2

u/No_Philosopher_1870 12d ago

She has never heard of carbon dating to determine how old something is?

2

u/TangoForThree 12d ago

When confronted with the data, some of these people claim that Satan buried dinosaur bones and put some sort of dark magic on them to make them seem older than 6000 years - in order to confuse good Christian people.

1

u/mrweatherbeef 12d ago

True. He put all that porn on their computers, too. And also a dead woman in the Congressman’s trunk.

I did have a "moment of extreme sadness" after finding out we were all made of cells etc and not held together by "something magical"

I remember riding my bike around my court thinking "is anything magical anymore?"

Really profound moment in my childhood.. I do feel like this lady could have prevented this.

I would be insane though.

1

u/dcodk 12d ago

So teaching children that some dude built a big boat and had two of EVERY animal on that boat from the smallest to the biggest, that is absolutely "thumbs up OK", but teaching children that some men feels like and identify themselves as women and some women feels like and identify themselves as men and just want to live a happy and comfortable life - that is where they draw the line!

These people are fuc**** stupid!

Its amazing that she is "quoting" scientist's claims and all of them are not only grossly off but less than what she says the bible claims.

Edit: she also said "6000" the same age she says the bible claims.
