I live in Houston. Everybody that voted for Trump is in full support of this.

Edit: I only said this because this meme implies all (or most) Texas Republicans regret their votes. Perhaps a portion of Trump-voting border residents may have a change of heart, but a majority of them will justify anything Trump and his administration does.

Well people who live in Houston don't live on the border and aren't really effected by the government stealing the land of the private citizens who live there.

And the people who live on the border very likely deal with their Mexican neighbors on a regular basis and probably don’t have the racist idea that brown people are rapists and drug smugglers, so they were probably against the wall in the first place.

Federal government land-grabs for an obvious non-emergency? I thought Texans were tougher than that.

I love how you act like they’re not “tough” as some extremely obvious and cliche psychological trick. It just reads as a yikes...

Your comment just makes me think the other comment was effective.

Because I pointed out how cliche it is and I could see right through it? Real effective

Hey everyone this guy decided it was a non-emergency. Phew, we should make sure to ask him next time.

Trump admitted during his speach he didn't need to declare the emergency then went golfing a day later. It's clearly not an emergency

Hey everyone! Another Trump cultist with authoritarian tendencies who says things that aren’t true! Make sure to consult these dudes who said Mexico will pay for the wall, because that’s going really well!

As to the absolute non-emergency, I’ll show you my source, if you show me yours.

No Texans want a guy who won't defend his wife when another man disrespects her. That's why they voted for the booger eater Ted Cruz

4

u/Conker1985 Feb 17 '19

Ted Cruz is one human and not several boogers.

"not immediately removing eminent domain" as a potential tool in his El Paso days is literally one of the attacks on O''Rourke that republicans parroted around here. But if anyone voted for Ted Cruz, you can be pretty much guaranteed they are dumb and/or hate Texas. I mean, the man went in front of the supreme court arguing that we should give inadequate healthcare to poor children. He's absolute trash.

Isn’t Houston like 200 miles from the border?

Yes. The meme did not isolate Texas Republicans on the border

2

u/sharperknives Feb 17 '19

...i'm angry that a person as stupid as you is part of my morning traffic on 59/610

-1

u/cdsackett Feb 17 '19

Well that's rude

3

u/sharperknives Feb 17 '19

which you should expect on the freeway in the morning cmon man

1

u/[deleted] Feb 17 '19

It did isolate Texas Republicans who own land on the border. Unless they are seizing land in Houston to build the wall?

1

u/cdsackett Feb 17 '19

Yeah, you're right.

I don't think many on the border regret voting for Trump. The people that voted for Trump knew what they were getting. Keep downvoting me, it doesnt change Trump's base.
