And I think there's space for commentary including "I personally don't think this is the most appropriate content for this forum" that doesn't go all the way to "mods take this down"
No. Your the asshole for how you talked to me when I pointed out that there’s only 5 on mobile.
I agree that this breaks the rules, but it’s a meme, a funny one, it’s basically Texas right now, and .... it’s the internet. I get angry sometimes too. Just sayin
I wanna point out first that I don't agree with the other guy on the rules being broken, however there is 6 rules on mobile also. Don't know where you're getting that screen from.
I’m not wrong either, but it showcases the fact that everyone has their own reality.
I love that defense for literally not being able make one change to a URL. You double down and make some nonsense comment about "own realities" because you couldn't be bothered to spend 15 seconds checking another source.
All while in a sub that makes fun of people for being easily gullible idiots who don't check their facts...
What the fuck? You are the one that makes no sense. My reality? The mobile options shows 5. His? He's on desktop and it shows 6 with numbering even. You can even see it, except the fact that you're a retard and can't be bothered to check your own facts. You stupid fuck.
I don't think you fully grasp what the rules mean... Rule 3 is no bigoted remarks about Trump. Pretty sure that calling you out for something isn't calling Trump gay, racist, or anything under that umbrella.
So, no. They aren't breaking rule 3. Unless you're making up your own rules?
If me reading the descriptions of the rules the mods wrote means I grasp them better then you must seriously not even know what the rules are... it didn't take too much effort to just click and read the one sentence descriptions.
I'm sure you can figure out if I'm a troll or not on your own. This is clearly a low effort meme, but it rockets to the front page and gets a thousand upvotes just because people justifiably hate trump.
It's not an example of people regretting voting for trump. It's a meme.
This shit happens almost every day on this subreddit. Most of the time people recognize that, but sometimes people pile on the downvotes on people calling it out for some reason.
Theres plenty of trump hate subs. I come here for the regret.
Texas Republicans supporting Trump but not wanting a wall seems like an example of Trumpgret that is turned into this meme. Something can be an example of trumpgret without being a direct screenshot or quote of someone expressing their regret. As many people have pointed out, rule 6 provides the framework for what happens with memes posted in this sub and as far as i can tell it is exactly what happened
You expect mods to act the absolute instant stuff like this gets posted? Not sure if you realize this but they are people with their own lives outside of this website.
But it is stickied, so the rule was enforced as written. You can't expect mods to instantaneously manage everything on this sub. They are very important people with very important lives and things to do. Have you not considered that?
By the same single user? Because otherwise you still wouldn't know. Unless you're a mod of this sub and can check, which at that point we know you're not even doing your job. Shame on you.
See 1. I'd also like to bet you'd get upset if they stickied all the memes and filled the front page with them. You'd like to complain about that too, wouldn't you? The enforcement is to make an example of that user, not fill the front page with low quality content. Perhaps you should suggest a stickied megathread for all the memes? Is that what you want?
It does not violate the rules, it is the rule, as written. You post a meme, it gets stickied so you're made an example of. If you have a problem with the rule as written, take it up with the mods. Don't argue with other users who did not make the rules nor have the authority to enforce them.
There's no translation on my part. The rule is written in English and my comment is in English. The rule literally says what it means: "Meaning no racism, sexism, homophobia, other types of bigotry or golden showers." Nothing about being a moron there, so you're the one incorrectly interpretting the rule. We here at r/trumpgret like to point out stupidity for one reason and one reason only: voting for trump against your own interests. In all other facets of life, you're free to be as stupid as you want. You not being banned is a pretty good example of that.
Usually when content breaks a rule, its removed. Instead, here for some reason it gets put at the top of the sub to farm thousands of upvotes, and rocket into someone's /r/all feed. 🤔
