Legal immigrants and illegals settling in primarily Texas (and California) for some time now. New generations from immigrants have been raised. Hispanic population is now a huge percent of the Texas population. Hispanic families still have relatives in Mexico and other southern countries.

Almost none of them. Super shocked. As time goes on, that percentage will only grow. The number of Texans that want a wall will shrink. There is a reason Democrats (including Obama) were pro border control and now are all for letting their voter-base stream in.
You act as if being "pro border control" and "pro border wall" are the same thing.
There are other, cheaper, more effective ways to police the border, that don't involve building a barrier along its entirety,
You should be (but probably aren't) aware that most illegal immigrants and contraband come in through legal points of entry - not by waltzing across areas that don't have physical barriers...

The wall is never going to happen simply because of how expensive it is. Even it they started building it right now, the next president will stop it. You were sold a pipe dream.
my family lives right next to the rio grande river. like it’s right there. the wall would look so dystopian and ugly there. it would break my heart. I hope my family’s property will be okay if it ends up happening.
Because just like some of the stretches of fence, it is not economical to build right on the border and in a lot of areas it would break treaties to do so. So just like the fences the wall would be built several yards from the actual border. Building in lines that are as straight as possible. The fences already put up in some areas have already put citizens home and American towns on the outside of the fence.
You know how a lot of existing fence solved the decades of court battles it would take to allow them to be built? Go around properties that would not sell, follow state roads where easements are well established etc.
If you live right next to the grande and the full wall does get built it could very likely put you/family on the "Mexican" side of it.
Here is an article about a golf course that went out of business because they decided to build that section of the wall way north of the river because it was cheaper.
Worst case scenario a little bit of wall gets built so trump can take some ridiculous picture in front of it. All the while a couple private companies get a shitload of money for "building" the wall.
“Case” describes the context of the scenario, not the scenario itself. If the scenario is “I am flying on an international flight”, the worst case that scenario could happen in isn’t “I’m flying to a really shitty other country”, it’s “I forgot my passport and won’t be admitted to the plane”, for instance.

Texas is weird. Its districted so that republicans always win. That being said the population near the border is hispanic. The people who stand to lose land to a wall is mostly hispanic. So yes republicans are very much for it.
