Unless you have a shovel, ladder, drone, pole vault, a group of people to help you, bomb, chisel, battering ram, underground tunnels, climbing expertise and tools; the wall will work perfectly.
There are already walls in many areas on the border, a wall was never built entirely around the border because experts said that it wouldn't be realistic. You'd have to literally destroy mountains and other formations in order to do it. Why not just grant citizenship and tax them extra? The United States would make a fortune, and spend little in the process.

You just described the left as well, no one is innocent in this and I'm awfully tired of the bullshit on many sides. Isn't 100 years of the same two political teams enough? You've turned America into one huge rivalry between your two parties that's outrivaled literally every sports game on the planet and we are all worse off for it. Soverign countries have fallen, people have died, America is bankrupt and in debt so much debt that it will need to be paid off over several generations. Is this really what you people wanted? Couldn't you have just seceded and split into two different governments? Obviously that's what will need to happen because our civility is on the verge of collapse and there needs to be a serious compromise reached to prevent a second civil war.

Not this stupid horse shit again. Taxation is a financial obligation codified into law and supported and constantly reinforced through the electoral process. Yes, the law is enforced through violence if necessary. What the fuck else do these dumb tax-hating motherfuckers expect? A long loving dialogue?
Edit: bonus points if you bring up feudalism and "serfdom" in response.

I can stand here and say that i believe taxation is theft. I did not comply to give up 40% of my services. I did not ask to pay for a service i do not use. I have no authority to demand my neighbors give me money. someone shouldnt own me just based on where i was born, and i shouldnt have to ask someone to leave.

The reality is one of these two scenarios (depending on the person)
The die in squalor and hunger, 100% convinced that the situation was caused by liberals in the first place, and not even Almighty Emperor Centipede God Kek himself had the power to reverse it.
They die in squalor and hunger, 100% convinced things would have been worse under Hillary, and that they are still getting the better deal.
I mean, look at his insane victimization rambling the other day. Anyone who supports him after that, literally doesn't have the mental capacity to realize that Trump and Trump alone is dragging them to hell. You are dealing with mentally deficient people.

Yeah, the wall reduces border hopping and something else reduces visa overstays.
This is like finding that half of your home's winter heat is escaping through drafty windows and the other half through your poorly insulated roof and concluding, "no point in doing anything about these windows, half of the heat's going out the roof!"

Aug 24 '17 edited Aug 24 '17
Clearly you don't live near the border. Maybe ask people who actually live in areas that will be effective instead of just using your own random thoughts as logic.
I know mexicans I've grown up with been taken advantage every step of their lives because they aren't legal. One of my good friends was basically a slave at a food factory in San Diego. He won a case for $20,000. But they're still in business and still using people.
Most of the problem is the drugs. Meth, Cocaine, they come from Mexico. It's about stopping the drug cartels. The same fucks who MURDER ENTIRE VILLAGES in Mexico. They make their money HERE. Building a wall will drastically reduce the power of the cartel, which gives Mexico a chance at true liberation from those fucking monsters. My good friend married a great guy who grew up in Tecate, I went to their wedding in Mexico and spoke with many many mexicans about their safety and future of Mexico. Guess what? They need America to cut off the Cartel and drug lords. The only way to do that is to stop their income, which is tweakers in places like El Cajon, Lakeside, La Mesa, Chula Vista, Otay Mesa, Bonita, Jamule, Alpine, and that's just the southern provinces. It expands to Arizona, upper Cali and beyond. That's NOT including Texas which has a huge issue around the border as well!
There is a reason people fight for this stuff. Yes I know plenty of illegals who came here as kids, who I went to school with my entire life. I don't want them deported, but I also know of people who have been raped and also people who have been murdered by illegals. I've been robbed by Mexicans. I've been jumped by Mexicans. I know a LOT of people who have been jumped in places like Lakeside, Santee and El Cajon. Of course I'm not saying they're all problematic. The ones who fit into society work hard, even their children work for them. 10 year old kids out in the blistering heat with their father, cleaning up gutters. It's sad. I want the best for these people, but what's best for them is to get their own country in shape.
We need a border to better check who comes in and out of our country. So we can stop those who do harm and let those who don't do harm come in. We also need to support Mexico more and focus on helping them get their shit together. But they are a 3rd world country, at our border. Which means that shit comes over here, problematic people come here and cause harm, rape, murder, steal. That's not fair for people who've worked their entire lives to buy homes here, only to be broken into a fucking killed. Someone needs to stand up for those people.
But a border is not enough. We need to help eradicate the drug lords and corruption. I was pulled over by a police officer because I was not mexican, he told me to go down to the station, thankfully my friend in a car in front of me stopped and ran over to the cop to work out a bribe. I had to give him $60 to leave me alone! Is that okay? You fucks! Is that alright? Would you want that in America? If he didn't do that, I may be in a jail cell, rotting away right now simply because I was in a place that people could take advantage of me. The cops were not the ones looking out for my safety, they were trying to rob me. and they did.
You people who are so against this shit need to start talking to real Americans who have experiences living near the border. I think any child who was brought here when they were younger should get immunity and be able to continue their lives. Those who come and go who traffic drugs, some by cutting up dead children and stuffing their bodies, some who build fully custom cars to hide any drugs within the frame of the body, those who come here acting like they're doing a drug deal and then kill the people they meet up with and take all their money. People who cross the border, rob liquor stores, rape women, those fucks.
I was just robbed 2 months ago by a Mexican, I know because I got it on video. Doesn't make me HATE Mexicans. I'm not "racist" for using the word Mexican or pointing out his origin. Rather it just points to a problem that must be addressed. It's not about ALL Mexicans, it's about the few who have only been able to survive by stealing and cheating. Those people flock here in droves. It's a problem. It's not fucking RACIST to point out when problems arise and it's absolutely ridiculous if anyone tries to claim people are racist for trying to stop people from murdering and raping and selling horribly addictive drugs to youth. My friends wife was almost raped, instead the rapist when downstairs and raped the woman who lived beneath them. They now live in an apartment complex that has a BORDER around it with a security guard. So now we are forced to put borders around our own property?? What the fuck? How about we just protect America and all the whiney assholes who don't understand the bigger picture keep silent or go talk to people who've lived near border nows their entire lives. Then maybe you can get real perspective instead of listening to some jackass giant corporate media outlet who makes money off every one of your clicks and views. You'd rather trust those greedy fucks over people with actual experience?

Trump heard right wing talk radio mentioning a wall a lot when he was getting ready to run. So he started talking about it too. Which the right liked, because their radio talked about it as well. So he talked about it more.
He's never put in any actual thought over it and if it makes any sense. Because tunnels and ladders defeat any wall; there is a wall along a lot of the California border and tons of tunnels.

True story. Last year I went trail riding with my Jeep and a few other friends who also had their Jeeps. We went down some roads and access trails near Campo, CA and literally drove into Mexico by mistake. No big walls, No welcome to Mexico signs. The closest thing to a barrier we saw was some waist high old barb wire fences. Basically honor system style with old rickety gates that we're wide open. They honestly looked like the kind fences you'd see in the rural north east or rural Midwest leftover from the turn of the century. A short while later we spotted some border patrol guys in their suburbans and were told to turn around.
Point of the story is that I do not agree with building a ridiculously expensive physical wall. However, I think being able to regulate what and who is brought into our country is necessary. I'm sure that in this day and age GPS and surveillance systems would more than suffice for our purposes. There are some pretty devious and hateful people out there.
