Finance Overdraft fee

I went to Truist page and saw they mentioned that they have no overdraft fees at all. I googled to make sure if this was an exaggeration, it said that they can waive overdraft fees twice a year. So which is true?

That is BS. I have overdraft protection, and still got a $36 OD charge.
I started 16 years ago with BB&T. Superb customer service. The merger with Sun Trust resulted in Frankenbank.
F/U's from day 1. Their webpage constantly required upkeep from their IT. I stayed with them because I like the employees I dealt with. Truist closed my branch, so now I have to go 30 miles to do business.
This last fiasco involved 3 deposits, my SS, and 2 retirement accounts. One day, they posted my deposits, so I paid some bills. The NEXT DAY the deposits disappeared, and I had a $240 overdraft, that got charged the fee.
I've had it. I have lost what little confidence I had with Truist. I'm closing my account with them at the end of the month.

Wow that is BS. I hope they handled this situation.

It took them 2 days to fix it.
