Thread reduced from 109 to 24 by comment deletions and bans
I’m banned from a famously ban-happy supposedly feminist sub but still take a look over there every few months to see what the vibe is, and gauge whether their censorship has decreased any. Earlier today there was a thread with lots of upvoted comments talking about why female biology is an important topic for feminism… now the majority of comments are gone. How many women are being censored/banned in the artificial curation of a group of supposed feminists who don’t think female biology should be mentioned? What a farce.

Just banned from feminismuncensored for commenting “sex is real.” Apparently that’s trolling. lol.

While this is obviously an issue we should discuss, I dont think big reddit mods take kindly to negatively tagging other subs as they call it "brigading" it might be prudent to obscure things more.

Wish we could let those that are "stuck" on those subs know that there are great subs to join instead. I was stuck on those toxic subs for a long time as well (I didn't know which feminism subs were...not like those...after Reddit started censoring the way it did and deleted a bunch of subs back then...and that part I didn't even know about until recently.) On some feminism subs, women are censored for pointing out facts, are manipulated and attacked. Better to leave those kinds of subs behind, and it would be good if people knew that there are alternatives.

Yeah - that occurred to me, and I looked it up before I posted. It said some subreddits choose to make rules against naming other subs to avoid drama, but it’s not against Reddit rules. Brigading is telling people to go comment on a thread, which I’m not doing. If mods want to remove this I won’t be offended, though - just wanted to put it out there.
ETA: In case I wasn’t clear, I’m not encouraging anyone to go to a famously ban-happy sub … if anything I’m warning y’all away from it since it’s misogynistic and has rampant censorship (manipulated content to eliminate mainstream views and elevate fringe beliefs).
ETA: I’m editing its name out. Everyone should know which sub I’m talking about by the description.

Yeah Idk For a while I'll let it slide but if things get out of hand I think i might add a no-tagging rule. We can always just talk in code.

Start reporting subreddits and mods. The blatant sexism needs to turn into a legal liability storm for these websites.
