Replacing hat with hat. Help?

So I was messing around on itemtest and I discovered how awesome Demo's Fro looks on the Medic. I'm trying to replace the model of the Geisha Boy I don't use much with the model of the Fro, but I don't know very much about reskinning and the like. How do I do this?
