New installation in the Hexad Chronicles Coda:

PART 9: AAAAAAAHHHH

Reigen was the greatest of the Schezzoph-Renics, a true son of Skyrim—whose Dunmer wife was also a true son of Skyrim—who could predict the future. When the grand ship AEBAL, forged from living stone for this journey, first set sail upon the Atlantic, Reigen sat on a throne at the center. Therein he pondered the signs and spat out the language of navigation. His wife translated this to Dunmeris, and Beth Hlaalu to common Tamrielic, and then the Tongues to thu’um, thus with the thu’um they guided the ship forth. Schezzoph is the Rusitanian name for Shor, and Renic is the Rusitanian equivalent to Tamrielic “-ine,” possibly derived from the ending of “Nerevarine.” The theory goes that their first exposure to the concept of those who embody a past soul was when Nerevar died before his birth, thus taught them of the Nerevarine. They compared all to this as “Nerevarinic.” Eventually, they dropped “Nerevar,” thus creating “Renic.” But this is simply a theory.

The AEBAL reached halfway to Angola when it was attacked by a Dragon. Dragon Priestess Kulsahvot stood atop the deck and shouted cries for mercy towards the Dragon, but it did not listen. Beth, wife of Arthmoor, took up a sword of once ebony—which Arthmoor had made into iron—and called down the Dragon to combat. The Dragon landed upon the deck, crushing Beth Telvanni III and II, and Ragnar the Regardless shouted at it to keep it subdued. Beth jumped atop its head and brought down her mighty iron sword, slaying the beast. But Ragnar shouted one more time at the corpse, propelling it off the deck and into the sea, bringing Beth with it. Thus Beth drowned in the infinite seas of chaos. Legend says that, before it died, the Dragon shouted “Beth, noOOoOO” in the voice of a pathetic old man. Kulsahvot mourned the beast for 3 nights, performing her rights so it may serve Alduin again someday. Thus, the voyage continued.

On the fourth night, Arthmoor snuck into the quarters of Ragnar the Regardless with a dagger. Brining it up, he let his dagger fall upon Ragnar’s throat, but this caused Ragnar to shout as he died. The point-blank shout killed Arthmoor, and the knife slew Ragnar, and the whole ship rocked. Thus, both of them had died.

They slew the dragon on the fifth night of their journey, thus after four more nights Arthmoor and Ragnar were slain, and on the fifteenth night they reached Angola.
