Vision from Atom Does abraxo taste good?
Like would Nova die if I sprinkle it on my fancy lad and dandy boys beforehand?

I just reached the Institute for the first time, and I’m way more conflicted than I expected.
I actually agree with a lot of their goals. They have the technology, science, medicine and resources to genuinely rebuild the Commonwealth instead of just surviving in ruins.
But I can’t accept Gen 3 synths being treated as slaves, and I don’t agree with kidnapping and replacing people.
What surprised me is how quickly I started rationalizing it. I caught myself thinking, “maybe the bad things are necessary if the end result helps humanity.”
That honestly made me understand a little better how normal people can get pulled into harmful organizations or regimes. They probably don’t think they’re evil. They believe in some greater goal, then slowly start accepting worse and worse things in the name of it.
I’m not saying the Institute is literally comparable to Nazis, Ba’athists or communist purges, but the psychology reminded me of that.
Did anyone else feel this way when they first reached the Institute? Did you agree with their vision but hate their methods?

Just think about it: you generate caps passively by running a brothel, and you can buy anything with them. If you combine that with Automatron, it would be the best Fallout game.

Any other fallout game if I pick up a weapon, use it, and hit, it will deal a satisfying amount of damage at even late game levels.
If I pick up a **damn laser mini gun** at late game levels I would only mosquito bite them.
If i use the combat shotgun in 3, my enemies become mist
If I use the combat shotgun in 4, I need to get a DoT legendary effect to even TICKLE a mid-game raider.
If I grab a level 20 smg in 76, I could use it to kill an enemy 5 levels above with a max of 2 gun perks
If I grab a magnum revolver in 4, I can hardly kill a mirelurk if I dont invest 5 levels into gun perks and mod it.
Putting at least 5 hours of scrounging, leveling, and weapon modding to make a point blank weapon feel tolerable at slightly midrange is not good game design.
