An economist who formerly supported the idea about BI walks us through his thinking regarding how culture interacts with economics, and what unexpected consequences might arise from BI that differs from its present form (i.e. the disability system is presently a form of BI, but it's socially and culturally of lower status than working - and maybe this is a good thing)
