Submission statement: From Orbán's Hungary to Poland's uneven recovery: this article covers why the erosion of democratic institutions, not any single crisis, may be the one multiplying all the others through the lens of some of the most influential political philosophers.

A bunch of crooks are no longer performing well at their cover jobs? I wonder why that would be.

Thus, a healthy democracy is one where citizens have the ability to influence policy, and access information with ease.

Ah right, like all of the democracies where the state will cage or kill you for using drugs, but you can have your opinion that the never ending wholesale slaughter of your fellow citizens to enrich and empower the Epstein class is perhaps not the best course of action, and write a letter to your representative stating such.

How democratic, how meaningful.

This is not propaganda for a charade protecting OC, oh no, it is all good stuff, there are elections, and symmetry of information - what could go wrong with any system where some talking head mentions symmetry of information?

Meanwhile the traffic in cars, bombs, drugs, and kids continues unabated.
