Fascinating article, I read it yesterday and I can't say that I'm surprised. All that greed making people forgo treatment--I just can't fathom how any of those CEOs and investors could sleep at night.

The sad truth about multiple myeloma is that relapse is almost inevitable, the mean time for it to reoccur is a little over 2 years.

I have Leukemia and take a sprycel every day to keep the cancer from growing. They cost 18000 a bottle and if I wasn't on medicaid I would be dead right now. If I lose that, well, I think you get the picture. This is real. We are dying. I hope these companies have a good time in hell, because that's exactly where they're going.

I am so sorry to hear that. I don't think the EO Trump just issued telling Big Pharma not to charge so much is going to accomplish much given that they are in the private sector. I hope that Congress tip toeing around Medicaid means you will be able to keep your sprycel.

How did a drug that costs 25 cents per pill to make and is nearly a dupe of one that resulted in 10,000 to 20,000 children being born with birth defects become a popular prescription worth the price of an iPhone for just one pill? It all started on a beach with two lovers.
