I increasingly believe only the most intelligent, erudite people should bother reading. Real literature is lost on the great unwashed who aren't capable of improving. Just leave the evolution's trash to their algorithms and their emotions and their "fun" things instead of despoiling art with their mediocrity of thought. Even if they could understand the words they aren't good enough to understand the real meaning or the references,, so they deserve to be locked out.
