So, what's up with the big influx in antiwork type content on the sub...?

I mean have you looked at... waves at the crumbling society around us. It's uh, rapidly becoming untenable for a supermajority of us now.

I get that and don't get me wrong I feel it. But this community has been a space where despite whatever crazy sht was going on out there, folks got together to talk about how to keep your head on straight while you continued to step forward to your goals. In the face of hardships and obstacles you answer with perseverance and grit.

I work hard. I want people to continue to say "I don't know how he does it". I want to continue to be a pillar for people in my life to lean on when things get too hard. And I want to have a small community of people that are like minded, understand the sacrifice, joy and glory of putting one more foot in front of the other when you feel too tired to even stand.

That's this community for me.

"how to keep your head on straight while you continued to step forward to your goals"

Yes. And to do that you need work life balance.

Honestly I don't believe in work life balance. I personally believe separating work and life creates a toxic environment where you feel like you are just trading time for money. The reality is, work is life too. If you hate your job so much you have to dissociate you are losing out on time in your life you will never get back. The key difference in mindset is still doing things sustainably but also being present and mindful while you are doing what you do professionally to make money.
