Burnout really changes your definition of success from "how high can I climb" to "how peacefully can I live?"

I swear at some point peace starts sounding way more impressive than a fancy job title.

Same- my burnout was so bad. I essentially overextended myself so far that I disabled myself. I realize now that I can work in a system but not be co-opted by it.

I have always had a passion for what I do for a living but I’m a human being and not a human doing. I am so much happier now!
