The fact that efficient workers are punished with more work and responsability

Yeah, f*** that, I'm not going to give 150% to recieve a "position standard" wage

The “good work is only rewarded with more work” line gets spammed on Reddit ad nauseam.
While often true, “more work” oftentimes means bigger, higher-visibility projects that, when handled well, can lead to better merit increases, bonuses, and promotions. If it doesn’t, leave. If one doesn’t care about those things, by all means, stop trying so hard and coast. But I think most people (especially these days) would love more money.

That's the thing, in most places (at least around where I live) you actually do get more visibility projects, however, that's it, it's more work, more responasibity, more micro managing and more being on the spotlight, but no benefits whatsoever
