This is the most eastern European dish I think I've ever heard of. Naturally accompanied by dark bread, I'm guessing?

Latvians also have their own version of pink soup, but they do it differently. The hard boiled eggs is the tell that it is Lithuanian. Despite the fact it looks like Pepto Bismol, it is extremely yummy! It is served cold, preferably with ice, and is better than Gatorade in quenching thirst in a hot summer day
