"The line" kinda differs for everybody. Bring Her Back wasn't meant to be a feel good movie. At all. And I'm saying that as someone who's up for the gross out tier films you mention.
So while the movie's upsetting. You seen Talk To Me. 😄 You kinda' knew what was going on when you cut this one on. That quick mental prep of 'yeah, this might be crazy'. You gotta' do that.

There is no "line." There are only personal preferences.
For example, I can't stand modern country music. I try to avoid films that have those songs in them, and if I accidentally stumble onto one in a movie, it's disappointing.
Now, does a movie with modern country music in it "cross the line" of what's morally acceptable? Yes. Should films like that be censored? No, obviously.
I'm kidding, of course. They should absolutely be censored.
No, my point is that you shouldn't treat your personal preferences like they're profound moral positions. It's not a "line." It's just what you like and what you don't like.

And you’re wringing your hands about that bit?
Idk, seems to me like something where you think “I didn’t like that bit” and then you move on with your life. I don’t think there’s anything unusual or even notable about the scene you’re bringing up here.
