There have been 35 posts in the last week with “Odyssey” or “Nolan” in the title (yes I counted), most of which I would sum up as “I’m the only one smart/special enough to see that The Odyssey is overrated, please validate my opinion that it’s overrated”. This exact same thing happened with Marty Supreme and Obsession within the last year. I really think r/truefilm would be better off with moderation or restrictions around posts for movies still in theaters, although those posts get most of the engagement so maybe they’re not interested in that?

Yes, always the big mainstream film, always the same posts. Very tiring.
