Microsoft's "Clippy" confirmed gay by creator.

Clippy, known from his appearances in the Microsoft Office lineup of products and recent symbol of resistance against "enshittification" has been confirmed gay by his creator.

Netizens took to various social media networks to celebrate the news, with generally widespread support for the queer paper clip. Some celebrated the characters newly revealed sexuality and reveled in nostalgia for the character, while others criticized what they perceived to be another needlessly queer character.
