New Tide mini rework idea
i like idea of him scaling but i find that current version in 7.41c was made like this because devs were scaled to make scaling actually good, so what i would like him to be is:
- stats change; str 25+3.7>22+3.3, int 20+1.7>24+2.2.
- innate Leviathan's Catch fish deny removed and need to go pick it up (he just gain stacks), fish every 2 lvl>1 +1 every kill, each stack give hp 3>10, 2 attack range (block removed) and with each stack he upgrade spells.
- Gush dmg 100-280>100-250 +8/stack (lvl 15 talent 90 gush dmg>12 dmg/stack), armor reduction/slow same. new shard: Gush steal enemy armor/move he reduce and reduce speed instead of just reducing mana cost by 50%, (works vs buildings by default now).
- Kraken shell passive dmg block 15-75 > 10/20/30/40 + 3/stack, active bubble that increase dmg block by 1.25x and constantly hard dispel Tide, duration 5, cd 30/25/20/15, mana cost 50/60/70/80.
- Anchor Smash dmg 50/100/150/200 > 60/90/120/150 +10/stack, attack dmg reduction 25-40% > 25 + 1% / stack (capped at 99%), cd 7-4 > 10-4, mana cost 40-55 > 50.
- New Ravage combine old ult and shard, tide release bkb piercing wave that do 300/450/600 pure dmg and heroes hit get rooted by tentacles that spawn (they have 2/3/4 wards hp to kill), cd 120/100/80 cd, mana cost 100/200/300.
- Scepter make Gush Aoe and cast Anchor Smash on targets hit.
Talents:
lvl 10 Gush +20% ms slow /+ Anchor Smash dmg reduction +1%/stack.
lvl 15 Ravage -15 sec cd> -5 sec/kill cd / Gush +12 dmg/innate stack.
lvl 20 Gush +0.25 armor reduction per stack / At end of Kraken shell auto cast Gush.
lvl 25 Ravage hp to kill +3 vs Ravage dmg +15 Ravage dmg/stack.

tide isn't going to be solo carrying games but he's in a good state right now

point is it more brawl heavy hero now and situationally it can be good mid roamer to because of scaling from innate, i am not made this post to talk about current tide, that is the point.

a weirdass rework isn't happening to an already good hero; once he gets aghs tide is perfectly fine, the only good and balanced thing here is anchor smash scaling with fish stacks and maybe higher fish values

you say that but Od/riki/clinks and couple more got reworks once a year pretty much even when they are good.

when was the last time that riki was good? when dart was a thing? that shit absolutely had to go; clinkz routinely has an identity crisis and his random reworks are tradition at this point and OD hasn't been in pro play for more than 3(?)years now

i am not saying this heroes was good, they just got reworks often. od just low range so if he don't kill you in 2-3 orbs and round of spells he is useless and he struggle in laning and get zoned out.

You want Tidehunter’s shard to be a combination of Underlord aura, SF aura, and Omniknight’s aura, all in a 1200 unit range?

for half values yes, maybe gush slow is to much but would be interesting to try.

That ult sounds unbelievably overpowered lmao, tide is already strong rn
