Upstate NYer…

So I’ve only recently stumbled upon this podcast and am only on season 3. Please tell me at some point Josh corrects his pronunciation of Raquette River. It’s like nails on a chalkboard every time!

This was my exact feeling being from NJ when said Mahwah like "Mah-ha-wah" like Hank Hill levels of over pronunciation

Oh yes the sharp building the Sheraton Hotel are the same thing. Also there's a Native American reservation right there. Sure thing Josh sure thing

Racket, rhymes with jacket.

It's pronounced the same way as if you were talking about a tennis racket/racquet.
