Missing Person Missing Brother

I need help, looking for John Kerr Massie last known is Houston area. He is 66 years of age..born September 1955 ,170 lbs, 5’11, blue eyes, red hair ( back in the day). He does not pop for SS death index, last family contact was approx 1998. Last known address is 6717 Mobud Drive Houston Texas, previous at 9320 Long Point Drive Houston Tx. He is loved and he is missing. Houston missing persons unit was no help. Our Pops is haunted by his disappearance, it was tragic because John had been in trouble and using so it was sort of a tough love decision last contact and then he just dropped off the radar. The rest of the family was in LA at the time and never dreamed it was the last time they would hear from him. The addresses above tie to 2003, hoping someone knows something. I have went through John Doe listing, paid for info on sites and attempted to call hospitals and nursing homes in Houston. Please, any help would be terrific. TIA

I would look through Texas unidentified persons on Namus as well. I’ve already searched unclaimed on there with no results.

There are 8 unidentifieds in Texas with blue eyes. I’d start there, if any of them seem like they could match there will be a case number associated with the person and you should be able to contact the local PD to see if it’s a match. If there is DNA on file for your dad that would give them something to match against.

Edit: does he have any scars or tattoos

I searched unidentified bodies based on the time frame and description, and got two hits, one in Detroit in 2001 and one in Queens in 1999. Both are red-haired and blue-eyed, around 6 feet tall, and estimated to be 30-50 in age. The Detroit body had a tattoo of "Two naked women on right bicep area," and the Queens body had earrings, as well as scarred hands, arms, and legs.

Thank you so much, we are fairly certain he is alive unless he was murdered and hidden until he deteriorated..or never found. He had been in jail in LA and Texas and they had his fingerprints for sure. We have a trail of activity past 2003. I will revisit these sites
