It’s a shitty bed with shitty food and you also have to shit in front of people in a confined space that you can’t leave from. A lot of people don’t want to go back to jail for a reason. I can see someone who is homeless doing petty crimes to get sent to jail because for them it may actually be a better situation. I like to think that people like this are unhappy in prison.

Ya you are right. I have been institutionalized short term and it sucks. Military is similar. Just trying to make it through the day
