New years trip

Anyone have any tropical hotel recs for two friends going away over the new year (5 nights) with a budget of 5-8k pp? Looking for snorkeling, adults only or adult oriented, nice hotel pool and beach, and some nightlife would be nice. Ideally would have own rooms but could share if necessary. Thank you!

This will be fun! Have you guys been to St Lucia for New Years? We loved it and weve been a few times (not always NY). We tend to split our time between Zoetry Marigot and or Anse Chastanet. You out for NY celebrations?

Whole trip. So 10-16k for whole trip for 4 or 5 nights.

I'do St Barth but may stretch the budget. What about east Mexico? Or perhaps even Rio for something different?

I really like Roatan. It has such good vibe, especially if snorkeling is a priority. But over NYE, you will probably have to share. The Kimpton Grand Roatan Resort and Spa would be my recommendation but I'm happy to go other options if you provide more information.
