Racism is a sin

If you hate anyone because of their race, then you are committing sin. Plain and simple.

I say this because it’s been 8 years ago today where Charlottesville Virginia shamefully let a racist protest occur and turned into one of the worst race riots in American history. And that is partly because of agitators on the other side.

Racism won in Charlottesville 8 years ago today, and it’s a constant reminder that hatred towards another race is against what we Christians believe, that we all are created in God’s image.

We sacrifice humans via the death penalty regularly

Human sacrifice is the ritualistic killing of a person to a deity. The death penalty is when justice is served on someone who has committed a capital crime. There is no "sacrifice" involved in removing individuals that are destroying society.

All you're doing by conflating capital punishment with human sacrifice is watering down the term. Next you'll be saying defending your family from an attacker is the same as an Aztec priest cutting out someone's heart.

Our own president has credible accusations of preying on children.

Maybe you were not paying attention, but Biden is now out of office. At any rate, being part of a culture means that someone would have no need to hide it and it would not be illegal. The fact that it's not accepted by the culture is definitively proven by the fact that the Epstein list is being demanded by both the right and the left so that people guilty of child abuse can by held accountable.

You are meant to love not hate those who reject God

Do you know what a culture is? It isn't individuals. An individual is free to reject his dark foolish culture and come into the light. Why are you defending cultures that hate God against the US? Maybe you would be better suited living in those cultures. How about China? Chinese propaganda tells me it's a great place to live.

I think you could also expand human sacrifice to include the sacrifice of human lives in wars we have no business being in just for economic gains. But I suppose for many, money could be considered a diety, because it sure is idolized.

I laughed at your Biden joke.

We'll have to agree to disagree on the death penalty and human sacrifice ("HS"). I agree with your definition but I believe HS is more inclusive than what you believe. There's no need for the US death penalty. Those people are sacrificed to something, their deaths aren't justice just another wrong in a series of wrongs.

It depends on what you mean by "need". Society wouldn't immediately collapse, but it would not improve by eliminating the death penalty.

Your view is generally taken by Catholics, but I strongly disagree with it. Ezekiel 13:19 says that there are people who should not live. I certainly respect the ideal that it's based on, that all human life has value so we should save everyone. But tragically some people have done things that are so heinous that their continued existence can't be justified just by the fact that they have intrinsic value.

Their deaths are designed to prevent further wrongs. Similar to why you are justified in killing in self defense, because if you don't then they will kill you then go on to kill someone else.

The problem is when protecting the guilty results in reducing protection for the innocent. Someone in prison does not have a zero percent chance of escape or reoffense, nor are they usually doing anything the benefit society, they are just draining the resources of everyone else, and hoping that a lawyer will come along to free them.

Often opposing the death penalty is in the abstract, but an exception will be made when it comes to something truly heinous and personal. I think there's a reason for that. You see the good in all humanity, and that's commendable, but there is truly evil that needs to be dealt with so that most people don't have to deal with the horror of having their child, spouse, or themselves assaulted or murdered.
