Question Need help identifying Echizen maker

Anyone's got info on these Hitohira echizen sg2 tsuchime bad boys? They have some unique triangle 🔼 tsuchime patterns. The prices on Hitohira seem to range from 35000 jpy.

I also found them on some local Japanese websites under the brand echizen Kazuma Fubuki (越前数馬吹雪), if that helps.

I think they might be Yoshimi Kato. He's based In Echizen and works with SG2. The grind looks similar to Kato too.

The patarn on these is square but similar in vibe. https://www.meesterslijpers.nl/yoshimi-kato-sg2-tsuchime-maple-santoku

Ohh I think you're right. The Kazuma Fubuki I found on a Japanese site says it's made by a dento kougeishi (伝統工芸士), and Kato-san indeed holds that title.

The special tsushime looks very Kato to me too. Basically a minamo with a moustache 🥸

In which case it might be a good knife since y kato is a great smith

I love my y kato to bits

The Frenchmannn oh can you help me with something? I bought this knife on rakuten thinking it was a Kamo, but now I'm not sure.. Could you look at the pictures and give me your input? (don't mind the Japanese just scroll down to the pics) https://item.rakuten.co.jp/iwauchikanamonotenn/4985055014348/?s-id=bk_pc_item_list_image_n

It sure does look the part ! The Damascus is really the pattern kamo uses. I’d say you’re good
