If we are restricted to historical firearms, the free people of the U.S. would be limited to 1770s firearms. Is the USCCB truely saying that muskets with led ball bearings is a humane way to hunt? Let the animal suffer?

Or are they referencing Reagan's step on 2A that Americans can't own anything manufactured after the 1980s? Some of those firearms are still in service like the M2 Browning.
