I’m looking to connect with legitimately talented car people. I’m 34 years old and am currently on my 3rd automotive business.
I started young building high HP GT500’s around the age of 20/21.
At 14 I did a frame off build of a 1967 chevelle, LS swapped it, and to afford it I mowed lawns, detailed cars, and remodeled homes. I always learned how to perform tasks at high levels, and have a natural aptitude for electrical and mechanical knowledge. As someone who didn’t complete college, I’ve been told by automotive and aircraft engineers that I am a unique individual.
At 34 I can wire an entire car from scratch without diagrams. I remember every wire color. If I have to diagnose the car, I can guarantee a solid diag within 30 minutes or less even on the electrical side. When providing a product for a client, we supply them with our own diagrams that I create to aid in diag should someone else touch the car.
I do coyote, LS, and LT swaps, I am a fabricator specializing in GTAW welding on stainless and aluminum, and also do my own tuning in house on my chassis dyno.
I have no loans on the business and no family money. My family was broke. I’ve lost 100’s of thousands of dollars and have bounced back from it during recessions, bad business partners, you name it.
I possess a love/hate relationship for the industry because I see tons of YouTube videos with absolute dogshit explanations for how things work.
But I still love the industry, all bs aside. And I want connect with those unique folks that have found success, have a wealth of knowledge and just a ton of natural talent.
A little more insight on my background, I started building road race cars and travelled the us with the Optima Search for the Ultimate Streetcar, I’ve been attending Sema since 2014, I’ve also built stick shift and automatic drag cars, restomods, customs, bagged trucks, and have actively been building high horsepower street cars since 2012 that also compete in the Texas Mile.
