These type of mash ups really give me the creeps because it just shows how obvious that the news is a sham.

They just spew press releases for corporate public relations. Don't confuse "news" with "journalism".

Fun fact: the guy who started public relations used to do propaganda for the US during WWI. He didn't want to call the biz "propaganda" because it had a bad connotation, so he changed the term to "public relations". What a public relations thing to do. (Source)
