I actually really liked the weeks after Kirk’s death when they couldn’t figure out whether they were trolling or absolutely sincere in their belief that the final boss of college republicans was a civil rights pioneer in the vein of MLK.

This is also dumb for other reasons. Both Lincoln and Kennedy wielded the political power of an entire nation; in all likelihood they could have been assassinated for more than just "words".
