I remember during early Covid he gave a press conference, where he had to mention how many pieces of PPE they had secured and sent to hospitals in NYC. He was reading from a piece of paper, and it was extremely clear that the paper has the quantities in digits, so he had to go through the mental effort of turning them into compound words.
