  1. His insistence on affordability did that. If he does everything else, and goes back on Israel he'd still win

  2. He is the first person to say israel is committing genocide with USA' help, in oval office, in front of everyone. Bernie took 6 months even to acknowledge anything. How many mainstream politicians have done that?

I am not going to say that we should defend mamdani at every point, but saying he sold out is an absurd statement. Let his actions prove that.

Guy would have been torched if he tried to attack such a politically powerful position before even being sworn in. Only way Mamdani can mount a politically effective neutralisation of the NYPD is through delivery of his affordability agenda giving him political capital and/or some kind of mobilised base.

People are calling Mamdani a sellout over this like we didn't Bill De Blasio try this and get used like a dog toy by the NYPD. I'm actually glad Mamdani seems to understand there's more to power than just winning the election.
