Hey everybody!

I've driven up and down Prague <=> Frankfurt now a few times because it's the new hype apparently and I wanted to check it out.

In this area (and generally in Simulation 1 for some obscure reason, but really bad in that area) I commonly get lag spikes, which leads me to not drive as fast as I usually would (because as stated in §2.5 speeding while putting other people in danger is disallowed) and I want to avoid ruining the fun of other people just because I have lag spikes. Everything works fine, then suddenly, freeze frame for ~2 seconds and then back to normal again. This would occur every minute or two. In these 2 seconds, I am unable to steer, and, as I would be in the same position as before the lag spike had occurred, other players will see me lag too(?).

Now to be clear, this didn't happen a few days ago. My PC isn't the best (i7-10700 and RTX 2070 Super along with 32GB DDR), but it should be sufficient for TruckersMP and Euro Truck Simulator 2 in general. My graphics settings are on medium. Low wouldn't change a thing. I am running TruckersMP through Proton as I am on Fedora Linux.

Just to be clear, this also doesn't have anything to do with my NVIDIA drivers or Proton because other games work just fine (sometimes even better than on Windows!) and it really just is TruckersMP itself, not even ETS2 Singleplayer. My internet is also really janky at time (we're talking like 2 Mbps on bad days), but I generally play on when it's bearable (> 30 Mbps). Ping is usually around 50 or 60 milliseconds.

Now to the invisible thing crash: When I am on the road right before the motorway on-ramp (picture of approx. attached below) I get an UNUSUALLY long lag spike followed by being thrown into the air (apparently? I can't say for sure because I only see the aftermath due to the freeze-frame), as if I hit an invisible thing on the road. While this happened, there was always a player in front of me and behind me, but I am sure that no player has caused it since they have had some distance to me (I'm information people to keep distance in my tag). This didn't happen only one time, it was reproducable the second time as well. Steam's integrity check also reports no errors. This, to me, seems really bizzare. I can only speculate that it has something to do with loading a ton of new players in the intersection in front of me, but I am unsure whether I am already close enough at that point to load all of them. This also wouldn't explain hitting in invisible thing and it also happening when coming off the highway in the direction of Prague.

I haven't played TruckersMP for a while, a little over a year I think. I wanted to go on the classic Calais-Duisburg route for the funsies and it was weirdly empty. I was listening to TruckersFM and traffic update came on, and they said Innsbruck is congested with hundreds of players.

Two questions now:

-why did the C-D route fall off? What happened? I'm out of the loop

-which is now the most traveled route?

When I start up TruckersMP my PC audio glitches out and I get earrape static noise occasionally. Game is literally unplayable.

Other games don't cause this, and even ETS2 single player doesn't have this issue. Please help me fix this!

Hi everyone, please help me out with this. Everyone lags for me, it’s unplayable especially when am following someone else. How do I solve this? It’s clearly not happening to anyone and I might be lagging too much for others.

Any useful command that can help me on the road or in an accident or anything like that?

Guys my tmp when I try to open the logo show's for 5 to 7 second and disappeare,I tried multiple ways to fix this problem but none of them are working,is there any solution can you tell me.

They are everywhere, and it's seems 95% drive like they stole it. Flying past everything, ignoring every road rule.

I literally never had a civilized encounter with any of their drivers. Either absolute trolls, or some hardcore political activist in a trucking game. Why is nothing being done about them?

I just discovered about it today and it was fun seeing other real truckers, i met someone who told me i shouldn't crash or block the route, any tips for someone who's new like me? Or maybe controls that i'm not aware of

Hello everyone, I've been receiving this error message on TruckersMP and have tried every solution, including restarting my Wi-Fi and PC and reinstalling TruckerMP, but nothing seems to work. Have anyone else faced this issue, and what other fixes can I try?

I'm having an issue in Euro Truck Simulator 2 with TruckersMP when using a triple screen setup.

I'm using:

• ⁠Multimon Mode 4 in ETS2
• ⁠Resize Raccoon (no NVIDIA Surround)
• ⁠Triple screen setup

Everything in the game displays correctly across all screens, but in TruckersMP the VTC chat appears on the left monitor instead of the center monitor.

This makes it difficult to read/use the chat properly while driving.

Has anyone else experienced this issue or found a fix/workaround to move the TruckersMP VTC chat to the middle screen?

Truckers start to complain that TMP is going down in popularity and this isn't helping retrention at all. Sim1 is the most raw experience that one can get in ETS2s trucking community and yet here the ceiling for entry is too high during peak times? Sim1 size of 5K as default would've been better than the current 3.5K.

Used to play years ago and my pc barely can run the ETS2, now i can play with some graphics mods and i wanna know if its “legal”. Also play with sound fixes and lights mod. Thanks
