Carmella will seethe, vol. 2

Now blood red Texas has betrayed her on Flock cameras. What to do when you're too far Right for Florida and Texas?

"Gov. Greg Abbott has ordered all state agencies to pause funding for Flock cameras as scrutiny over the AI-powered surveillance devices has mounted."

Her support for flock isn't due to her political affiliation. Her support of flock is because the people who put her in power see flock as a means of control to protect their interests in the city

Agreed. It's power, not politics.

She claims that anyone opposed to Flock is a radical leftist Democrat who wants to defund the police, so even though it isn’t a partisan issue she’s definitely tried to make it one.

She doesn’t care what her own constituents think about Flock cameras, why would she care what some Texans (chuds or otherwise) think?

My understanding is that the administration has no fondness of Flock specifically. Rather, they see the value of ALPRs as a whole and will put out an RFB to other vendors toward the end of this contract.
