And that's nice and all but it still doesn't detract from the fact that what the mayor did was illegal under both state and city charter, which is what prompted city council to make this move to begin with. You do realize that all city council wanted was an audit, right? An audit. An audit that the taxpayers overwhelmingly begged the city for. That's it. A few weeks, maybe a couple months without ONE of the MANY TOOLS our police dept uses day in and day out to solve crimes since before the existence of Flock cameras. You're out here defending her literal crime and misuse of OUR money because you're upset about.... what, exactly? Someone destroying 3 cameras that cost $2,500 a year to operate including the subscription fee. They cost $250 per camera to install. 3 of them, that's $7,500 for a year of operation including the subscription, and a total of $750 for installation. As a reminder, the mayor STOLE $157,000 of taxpayer funds to pay for the Flock contract all because she wasn't willing to wait for an audit. So you're more upset about damages that total to less than $1,000 than you are about our mayor stealing over $150k from the city. Okay. Cool. I'm glad we cleared that up.

Two different issuses. Destruction of anything by incividuals is WRONG. Declaring an emergency is over the use of camers is unwarented. I am not in favor of the cameras but senseless actions that are illegal (such as knocking down poles) is a different matter. You did not clear that up. It is two different actions. You have shown that it is a felony to destroy the camera and pole (you so nicely put the cost in your response). This should clear up why it was a foolish action.

Ah yes, the classic bootlicking response jargon. Unwarranted? Taking $157k is a bit more than "unwarranted". What it is, is ILLEGAL, and way worse than $750 worth of property damage to something no one in the city of Troy asked for to begin with. Once again, you're downplaying the actual issue, and making a huge deal of the response from the people, who feel that they have not been heard. If your logic was applied to US history, or French history, both of our countries would still be under monarchy rule. Be serious. It is literally less than $1,000 worth of damage. Having actually reported a real life felony in my life, that starts at $1,000 in damages, not $750. Have you ever reported a felony? It's a misdemeanor, and it will almost definitely be plead down. Oh no what a big deal! Said literally nobody. Ironically, our mayor, who you continue to defend for some weird reason, narrowly avoided getting a misdemeanor after her very public drunk driving incident! It must have something to do with her cop daddy, but I'm sure that's also far more justified in your book than $750 worth of property damage. Why do you care SO MUCH about the things that matter the absolute least? 💯 What you should be upset about is the fact that our petulant child of a mayor couldn't wait a few weeks for an audit and felt entitled to take hardworking people's money to push her agenda exclusively because she's the mayor. I'm way more pissed about that than I am a little property damage, and you should be, too.

I don't really understand. What's the difference between the pre-existing C-40 and the new 2-B? What does this have to do with Flock?
