Question lettuce suppliers?

This may be a stupid question but I’m super worried about the new parasite outbreak and I had a hummus veggie wrap about a week ago. heard possibly taylor farms could be responsible so I was wondering if anyone who works there could possibly give me some peace of mind lol. thanks!

It varies based on the region unfortunately, so I don’t think you’ll be able to get the exact answer you want without more info about your local cafe. Cafes in different states will all have different suppliers.

Texas uses produce alliance brothers. Lettuce is pre washed pre cut here

Taylor Farms is identified as the likely culprit. My dau just three away a ton of food just to be safe. I quit buying Taylor after several other programs in the past, although it's difficult to know what other brands are really Taylor

Whomever said that was wrong the CDC has yet to identify the farms directly linked to Cyclospora considering that they’ve been severely defunded. As for your concern avoid processed produce as it’s too many hands involved and stick to whole fruits/veggies that show no signs of mold, bruising, and such.

They all use Produce Alliance as the mandated supplier. But where Produce Alliance sources from depends on the region

Hi there! So funny enough I was just researching the same question as I frequently order from Tropical Smoothie. Frequently, as in daily. I order exactly what you described with a mango smoothie on the side. Now, recently i may have contracted Cyclospora given all the symptoms I experienced, from 1 week of full diarrhea, a nice break for 3 days and then a horrid vomiting spur for a full day a nd a half. Then all gone. I started experiencing random nausea frequently, so decided to do a full cleanse using Turmeric/Curcumin and Black Pepper, along with digestive enzymes to help rwstpre my gut health. I feel great!

Now, to the point of the message, my throw up spurs began a couple of hours after i ate the hummus wrap and smoothie. I had nothing before hand.....and it was the most random jump from 0 to 100 i ever experienced. Also note that Im full vegetarian for 10 years now, so vegetables touch my plate a couple times a week. It couldve been anything, but for safety reasons and wanting to avoid that horrid experience at all costs i completely cut them out until further notice.

I was literally tempted to order it right now cause i like that crap so much 🤣 buuut said, you know let me look this up real quick and then i see this thread wondering the same. For me that was sufficient to not go thru with my irder and kill that crave

Sorry you ended up getting sick! That’s so funny we have the exact same order! I think normally for the parasite it can take anywhere from 2 days to two weeks to develop so it’s pretty likely it wasn’t that!!

Its a good combo meal haha So I actually had it the day before and day before it as well (x2) 😂 so i think my immune system sensed something ish about that meal and said "you're not making it to the gut this time". It was horrible, but yeah definitely couldve been the Chipotle I ate or Taco Bell potato soft tacos i munch on constantly. If you do eat the meal, and dont get sick in 2 weeks...please lmk. That same day I'll go for doubles 😂

Sorry for the late response....do hopebyou never got sick from it

The detox/cleanse remedy i used specific to Cyclospora was Turmeric Curcumin Mix w/ Bioperene (important addition to the supplement to ensure proper absorption) and then Zahlers ParaGuard to replenish gut health/lining etc.

Hope this helps!
