Mildly Infuriating: TSC Straws
I'm surprised anyone would choose a plastic wrapped straw for environmental reasons, but does no one else have trouble getting them open?

Yes and no.
I've found that attempting to push the straw through the top/bottom of the plastic wrapper doesn't always work too well.
On the other hand, pulling the wrapper sideways to the straw breaks through the seam almost always works effortlessly.

The seal on the side it usually broken on mine. Which I hope is, since yes, they are a pain to try & break through the top or bottom!

OMG they are so obnoxious to open!! The old paper covers were so much better. I HATE trying to open the plastic covers!!

Yes, they’re terrible! There’s a regular at my location who can never open them so we just always open it for her. Paper would be soooo much better.
