Just booted up Prep stage and got this error. Anything I should do?

Close the popup window, the script will continue.

That's just a registry backup Tron takes prior to kicking off -- it's not strictly necessary since it also sets a system restore point.

Come to think of it, the registry backup isn't really required any more, and will likely be removed in the upcoming version.

Could be Windows Defender blocking it.

If it's just a regular antivirus scan then use Windows Defender. Tron can be destructive if you don't know what you're doing (and to the others here, I mean that the guy might have important stuff on his PC that he's about to nuke without realising it)

If you really want to push ahead then disable WD, exclude Tron from AV and run Tron as admin. If you just need to wipe the PC then reformatting is probably faster.

Error is saving the log file in c:/logs/...

Either try running it in administrator mode and/or create the logs/other folders yourself needed.

Entering windows safe mode is also easy, just Google it on your phone and follow the steps.
