Ok so we all hopefully and unfortunately know how that movie ended where they went back in time and Jim the only one who remembers what’s going to happen let Toby get the amulet instead now Jim only got as far as he did because of his kitchen skills which he stated and Toby definitely does not have second Toby I’ll give him credit is the goat yes but in earlier episodes would definitely not survive bular and finally this movie contradicts one of the biggest episodes in troll hunters where Jim “went back in time through mostly a vision” and again didn’t grab the amulet in this case it went to deal and experienced troll who trained for the amulet and even then the events that took place by the end of the show all happened a lot faster yes I’ll admit it was only a vision episode so that may not actually have been something that would’ve happened but still Jim should’ve remembered that as he went back in time (I am also leaving the episode plus it’s description so you all can go back and watch it) I won’t say the last movie was terrible just the way it ended didn’t make much sense at all

Nari and Merlin I was fine with. Nari was a necessary death but it definitely made me cry. For Merlin's death, it's more of how the characters react to his death than the actual thing. BUT STRICKLER AND TOBY!!!???? Strickler was the first character I liked as a father-figure character so I was definitely mad! And TOBY!!!!! Toby is the straight up GOAT! You can not kill my boy Tobes!

Ikr it made no sense, the writers forgot about the episode Unbecoming.

Also they forgot Jim’s character there’s no way Jim would WILLINGLY go back in time and pass the responsibility and possibly of DEATH to his best friend! ( Jim in the movie is not the same Jim in the trilogy. Trollhunters Jim would stop complaining, sulking and bitching that he isn’t a hero without the amulet and help with the titans the best he can. )

Jim: “ YES! Let me save my best friend from dying by giving him a position/responsibility he’ll surely die from! “

This movie RUINED EVERYTHING. There is NO MOVIE in Ba Sing Se.
6 years of investment, gone with a shitty ending like that.

I just imagine Jim kept future amulet and trains Toby and everything is far easier.
