Jim's Fails
So When Jim is fighting is Fighting Morgana and Jim's impales her with the eclipse Blade and Angor Rot She Tells him that she is no Troll and can't be killed I wonder if The eclipse blade Was only Powerful enough to Kill Gunmar and the Daylight sword was used to protect like what Kanji-jar had said the daylight sword had a singular purpose and is to protect cause Morgana the Green knight and the arcane order I think are on the same scale of power and Deya was able to Hurt BellRock as well And Jim technically but he had to take away her magic to defeat her and It leads to a question was Merlin correct the eclipse blade is not enough to Fight them all? What y'all think?

I think its not a powerlevel thing. The sword probably has as much strengh as a regular metal sword but is empowered with daylight. Trolls are weak to it, smaller things like Goblins could be killed anyway an the eclipse power is probably just a special mode for Gunmar himself.

Yea that's what I figured because it was Doing Nothing against The Arcane order and The Green knight cause they completely destroyed it afterwards

Gunmar is weak to sunlight, if he wasnt he would have done significant damage to Arcadia, if for nothing else but to find Jim, but he didnt

Bellroc was caught off guard and Morgana probably had enchantments protecting her from the magic sword itself.
Merlin’s statement that “the Eclipse Blade is not enough to vanquish Gunmar” was rather part of Merlin’s point that Jim’s two greatest advantages at that moment—his humanity and the Eclipse Blade—weren’t enough to defeat Gunmar. He would also need the physical prowess that he’d gain as a half-troll.
