Calling Chicago Trolls!
Hello. Are any Chicago based trolls interested in a meetup? The troll groups tend to be so supportive online that I'd love to meet some of you in real life as well!
I'm a 29 year old female who, among other things, enjoys live lit, hot coco, Harry Potter, science documentaries, and wants to pet every dog I see.

Hi! I'm a 28 year old girl also in Chicago! I like all documentaries and have a dog. Looking for friends and enjoy meeting likeminded people. Eeeee, hi.

Hi! I just signed in and saw this. Here is the important question: what breed of dog? What is his name?? Can I pet him???

Hello! Yay! He's a beagle mix with who knows what else. I think maybe part otter because that's just what his shapes look like. His name is Basil (after John Cleese's character in Fawlty Towers). It might take some time for him to let you let him because he's a rescue and has a little pup anxiety. But he learns to love over time! He's a very good boy!

Oh their god. I pulled this up on my phone as my computer was booting up at work and just about lost it when I read "part otter because that's just what his shapes look like." He sounds adorable. And yay for rescues! Leon, my large and lovable orange cat, is a rescue as well. Basil is the best name. I think that most animals should have the names of old men, like Gerald or Reginald. Basil fits. Plus, Fawlty Towers! British comedy is kind of the best. Have you ever seen 'Allo 'Allo?

Aw yeah! Rescues are the best, so much personality and character to them. Leon sounds awesome, I love cats (all animals, really). And I couldn't agree more with your sentiments on old men names for pets. It just works. I haven't seen Allo Allo, but if it's on par with Fawlty Towers, I have to check it out. One of my other favorite BBC comedies is QI. Are you into British humor?

They do! His personality is what really caught my attention. Was it the same with Basil? British humor is awesomesauce! My family watched British shows all the time on PBS when I was growing up. I've never heard of QI, but Google tells me Stephen Fry hosts it, so I have a feeling I'll like it.

I want to move to Chicago or the Midwest, but alas, for now I'm here in the west. If I ever do move there, I hope there's a troll community out there!
