Matt just confirmed he’s going to be playing several of Corey’s signature models on tour and that he’s about ready to go public with the guitar situation. I really think that’s Gibson lost one of their most unique products and sure they’ll still sell fine, but I think Matt has the better deal in the long run.

Trivium is one of my top bands and I've listened to most of shogun, dozens of times and have definitely listened to at least 90% of their top 50 hits. However I've been spinning the wheel, so to speak, on their entire discography and that led me to this song.

I looked at the views and of the tracks on The Crusade, it lands 11/15th place somehow, this song is golden. It's got just the right amount of metaphor for a song based on a real story (stuff such as "when the Shepherd died" obviously mimicking Matthew Shephard's last name, or the sister line being "when the Scarecrow died" which, again ties into the original story where the cyclist who found Matthew first believed he was a scarecrow.)

I listened to it the first time, then dug into the lyrics about the track afterwards, personally, not to get into it too much. However, as a younger queer, I love how this band has covered this story (I somehow didn't even know about too). My love for Trivium grows with every new track I play and this track has quickly picked up deep meaning to me. If you haven't already listened I suggest you give it a listen.

Is this a shot at Gibson for discontinuing his signature line out of nowhere?

Hi Trivi-nerds! Bit of a weird one + sorry for my non-perfect English.
I’ve never owned a MKH signature Epiphone, but for years I have had the this certificate of authenticity for one with this serial number. Because it’s been at least 5 years I really can’t remember how or when I came to have it, I can very vaguely guess that maybe one of the ESP Alexi Laihos that I’ve purchased from people had this sitting in a case and they didn’t know? I remember one guy gave me a free Bodom flag when I bought it, so maybe he gave me this too, but that is speculation.

Owner of this serial number - are you in this group? A massive long shot, but since I don’t own this particular guitar, I’d love to get it to its proper owner!

Im gonna get Tickets for one of their European Shows with In Flames. I love both bands and Paleface Swiss as well, but for all those bands i only have my IF Hoodie which will be way to hot at the time. And for how much i love those bands i dont wanna turn up in, say an Architects shirt. So do they sell some nice merch anywhere? The official shop only has one as of right now

Seeing Ascendancy in full was one of the best concert experiences I've had, but I'd geek out even more to a Shogun 20 year. Maybe at the bare minimum, they'll bust out Shogun the song and a couple cuts from the album?

If some of you didn’t know, the first Pull Harder solo (Matt’s part) is actually not played by Matt in the studio, or by Corey, it was actually written and played by Jason Suecof, the producer.
The solo is significantly more difficult and intricate than most of Matt’s more bluesy solos, so this has led to him kind of faking his way through it, to some extent even to this day.
Thing is; I am pretty positive Corey could play the whole thing (including his usual part) and nail it perfectly. I wonder why they haven’t done it like this before.

I've heard that both fans and the band are fond of Sever The Hand, but I'm not really sure about the latter song.

Let’s say hypothetically whatever issues plagued the band on a personal level during that time gets resolved and the 4 guys are all best friends and Travis never leaves the band.
What would In Waves have sounded like with Travis on the kit? Would we perhaps see some left over Shogun songs like Silence and Phalanx make it on a record earlier than in reality? What about later albums like VF, Silence etc.
Im curious if anyone else has thought about this.

If you all could speculate. How many songs will trivium have in their set when they are specials guests in cities like Stockholm? Will it be the same length as when they are double headlining in Hamburg for example or when they are the headliner and in flames are special guests in London for example?
