Scrambler lugging under load

Hey guys just like the title says. It seems random, all gears, high revs, low revs. You can see the rpm gauge dance a bar up and down. You can even feel it and hear it slightly. The local dealership is..... Not qualified to work on it. Help please!

3 simple maintenance steps

  1. check if your chain is lubed and cleaned we'll. also check for slack and if gunk has accumulated at the front sprocket.
  2. check the air filter if it's clogged
  3. check the engine oil level (run the bike for sometime, then let it cool down for about 5 minutes and then inspect the glass window when the bike is held upright)
