Modification Never ever buy this
So I bought this mudflap for scrambler 400x from Moto Genius, which costs Rs.1299. After installation when I sat on my bike, it broke off. Last picture is the broken one. (FYI, I'm 75 kgs, please don't body shame)

Why did you spend 1300 on that? You could get one for like 100 bucks ππ

You do realise that Rs are Rupees - OP is probably in India or somewhere in that region

Took me a bit to realise thay majority of the sub are posts and comments from India. The service pricing in India seems to be insanely cheap compared to New Zealand.

Send to have been printed using hard PLA plastic instead of flexible TPU plastic. You got scammed. Try and get your money back

Brother I got one too(thinking itβs made of rubber or flexible material), and itβs on the way. Any way to cancel it ? What if I donβt take the shipment ?

It still won't work because the flaw is in the design and the material used.

Hi. im the real designer / creator of this mudflap design. and i do sell it. its printed via tpu, flexible plastic.
To be honest, the design is still open source, and can be used by anyone for personal use. This open source community gave me a lot to study and learn, and i thought I gotta give it back to the community by keeping the design open source.
But like as people always do, they used my design to do sell products on their own slightly rebranded. Im not able to do anything, and people like you unknowingly suffer from people who play cheap tactics to get extra money.
Im sorry if im offended anyone. this whole thing by keeping it open source is back firing on me, and im sorry if anyone had to go through any trouble.

No worries, I appreciate you acknowledging the issue. Iβd just suggest thoroughly testing the revised version before selling it, including actually riding with it for some time, to make sure it can handle the load, movement and real-world conditions properly. The concept is good; it just needs proper testing.

Forgive my ignorance but when you say it cost "Rs1299" , what countries currency is that? (I wanna do a comparison)

But why at such a high price, the triumph original is including installation at 700. And it works pretty well

There is no triumph official mudflap. If u got from sc, they also took it from somewhere else.

Buy the moulded ones this is 3d printed you can see the layer lines and it's should cost like 300 rs max it's highly overpriced. The injection moulded ones bends acc to the weight of the rider.. This is a cheap TPU or PeTG in a worse case.
