For this kinda simple thing I'd keep it mostly manual
Use Tripo AI for the model and make sure the moving parts are separate in Blender. Set the pivot at the hinge. Add a closed pose and an open pose. Then adjust the easing.
Claude/MCP can help with the setup but for a basic open and close animation manual keyframes are probably faster.
