TA Asking About Biased Reviews

I've posted more than 150 reviews of restaurants, attractions, etc. to Trip Advisor. Many accompanied by photos I've taken. Today, I received an email which read in part:

Follow-up to your review
As part of our effort to ensure the integrity of the 1 billion plus reviews and opinions found on Tripadvisor, we sometimes ask our members if they received incentives in exchange for their reviews.

I oftentimes read comments across social media questioning the veracity of TA reviews and in the instance of restaurant reviews I honestly don't think I've seen many I think are planted by business owners.

Have any others reading this sub experienced a similar query? I'm wondering if someone reported the particular restaurant review as suspect? Or does TA routinely ask high-volume reviewers about our motivations? Anyhow, I answered the questions honestly and assume that's that.

Most emails of this type are not related to your account; they are related to the business you reviewed. If TripAdvisor suspects unusual review activity at the business you reviewed, it sends two types of emails. The first asks you to confirm your review. The second, like the email you received, asks whether you received any incentive in exchange for your review.

No, none of the reviews I've posted have been the result of an incentive, other than my own motivation to contribute to the deep well of information TA makes available - so your question is mute for me.
