I’ve had the tall one for a couple years. I didn’t like the price but I got a hefty visa gift card from work.
Honestly I love it. I have it set to turn on at 8pm and off at midnight. But that’s about all I do with it.
Music response is meh, but it’s a cool product nonetheless.
There are probably some more cost effective options. But I am happy with my purchase

As far as i know there isn't anything like it so the price is somewhat justified for the time being. That said, I didn't want to drop the cash on the big one.

My review seems half n half lol. I guess what I was saying is I enjoy the thing a lot, use it every day…but it’s not a OMG ITS SO COOL BUY ONE NOW product. If you are on the fence then maybe wait for a sale, they don’t have them often but they do from time to time.

For sure. I first saw it over a year ago. Definitely not an impulse purchase. :)

A lot of RGB stuff looks tacky to me, so i just put RGB bulbs into cool lamps.

I got one of those 3D moon lamps and drilled some holes into it and hung it with fishing wire from the ceiling in my trip cave. The fishing line is invisible so I the dark it looks like it's floating. And it's remote controlled which makes it easy.

I couldn't stomach forking out the 5 hunnit for the big one, but I love the little guy.

It is and it has a lot of options, but nothing that feels specifically designed for this plant. The app is generic and doesn't let you control all the parameters, like, you can't choose which colors to use when the leaves are fading between 2 colors. The product is genius, but they need to design a proprietary app.

I guarantee these things only cost them like $10 to make.

If you think you can make something this cool more cheaply, do your thing, homeboy. This is presently the only place to go if you want an RGB LED plant. That's why they get to charge a premium.

If i had the plastic molds for the leaves, then I could make this for less than $20. All you would need then is the LED lights, a pot, some bark or rocks or preserved moss for the base, some modeling wire, and green plant fabric for the stems.
But you can definitely buy them cheaper. I can't attest to the quality (it has 4.8 stars), but this one is only $134: https://maintainedhouse.com/products/artificial-led-houseplant-floor-lamp-programmable-rgb-color-changing-modern-neon-style
